“These Children have the strength to overcome challenges and embrace new experiences to create something beautiful whether in music or other domains. I have always believed that music is not only an art form for entertainment. It can inspire, it can educate, and it can engage people. If you have the heart to care and share, everyone can perform together,” said Datin Sri Umayal Eswaran, Chairperson of Vijayaratnam Foundation.

Also present at the concert were the families of the children, management and staff of the QI Group of companies. The Group’s Executive Chairman, Dato’ Sri Vijay Eswaran who was also present at the concert, paid tribute to the unstinting efforts and dedication of all those who had supported Taarana’s endeavours, especially the teachers for their persistence and perseverance. “To me, the crown jewel of QI Group will always remain Taarana,” he said.

The concert was also a success with assistance from the volunteers of QI Group as part of their SSR activity.  It was certainly an eye-opening experience for the volunteers to interact with the special needs children and also to work closely with the teaching staff.
