Staff Social Responsibility
The QI Group’s philanthropic activities are an inherent part of the fundamentals on which the company has been built on. The company believes strongly that giving back to the community is not just the prerogative of the corporate foundation and inculcates  within its employees the spirit of giving. The Foundation works closely with the employees of the QI Group and involves them in its various initiatives.

VF Twelve
VF Twelve is a celebration of staff birthdays with those who are less fortunate. QI staff who are celebrating their birthday in a particular month are invited to share their special day with children from various welfare homes or community centres in Malaysia. Employees get to spend the day with the children at various educational and entertaining venues with fun activities and a big cake. Each child is paired up with a child and they participate in the activities lined up, working together to build friendship, trust and understanding.

QI Ambassador for Philanthropy
The Vijayaratnam Foundation recognizes the need to acknowledge and appreciate individuals who support the ideals of the company in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).  The Ambassadorship is awarded as a recognition and acknowledgement of QI staff who walk and talk the concept of Raise Yourself To Help Mankind (RYTHM) in their daily life.

International Womens Day
International Womens Day is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political. Every year, Vijayaratnam Foundation celebrates this day with much love and joy looking back on past struggles and accomplishments, and more importantly, for looking ahead to the untapped potential and opportunities that await future generations of women.

Celebration of Malaysian Festivals
Every year, through the staff social responsibility programme, all festivities liked Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Christmas are celebrated with children from orphanages, old folks home and underprivileged families. ‘Ang Pows’, hampers and gifts will be handed out to this cherished group of people and to make the festive mood present, QI staff does performances for them.

Toy Library for Orang Asli in Serendah
Residents of Kampung Orang Asli Serendah in Hulu Selangor came out in full force to witness the arrival of a new facility for their children – an educational Toy Library donated by the QI Group on 8 September 2013 in conjunction with the 15th anniversaryThe Toy Library is located at the Kampung’s kindergarten, and is made access to about 150 children who will now be able to enhance their cognitive and social skills through the library which is provided with both play and educational materials.
